About

Hey, I’m Sreeram.

I work in Supply Chain Planning, primarily on Kinaxis RapidResponse (Maestro), solving real-world demand and supply challenges across FMCG and Pharma domains. My work sits at the intersection of business logic, data models, forecasting, and system design — translating uncertainty into structured decisions.

Alongside Supply Chain, I have a strong interest in AI — especially where it intersects with forecasting, automation, and decision intelligence. Whether it’s improving forecast accuracy, building structured workflows, or experimenting with RAG systems, I’m drawn to tools that reduce noise and increase clarity.

This blog didn’t begin as a “personal brand” project. I had wanted to write for years but kept postponing it. After starting my professional career and finally having some breathing space, I realized something important: if I don’t document what I’m learning, I’ll forget half of it.

A turning point was reading Show Your Work. The idea was simple but powerful — document, don’t create. Focus on the process. Share the thinking. Improve publicly.

I was also inspired by the 512kb Club — beautifully crafted, minimal websites built with intention rather than excess. After experimenting with Wix, Blogspot, and WordPress, I discovered Hugo. Fast. Clean. No unnecessary JavaScript drama. That philosophy aligned with how I like systems — efficient and purposeful.

This platform is where I document:

  • Supply Chain concepts (Demand Planning, DRP, Forecast Accuracy)
  • Kinaxis implementation learnings
  • AI experiments connected to forecasting and analytics
  • Technical setups, structured thinking, and professional growth

If you’re working in Kinaxis, Supply Chain Planning, AI, or exploring how they intersect — feel free to connect.
